Process Overview

 

Lion Creek Capital only invests in one business at a time which allows our partnership of experienced entrepreneurs, operators, and investors the ability to preserve the owner’s legacy. We take such great care with this process that, upon investment, Lion Creek Capital’s Managing Principal will personally transition into a full-time role within the organization to grow and sustain the business for years to come.

 

Step 1

Initial call

  • This is an opportunity to get to know you and your company as well as for you to get to know us.

  • We want to hear about your goals, plans, and expectations relating to a potential sale.

step 2

Sign Non-disclosure agreement

  • With an executed NDA, we want to learn more about the business, including some of the financials.

  • We discuss approximate valuations to ensure we are on the same page.

step 3

site visit

  • We travel to meet you in person. This is a critical step in assessing that all parties are a good fit for the deal.

step 4

Sign letter of Intent

  • Once we have agreed upon the preliminary offer and terms, we will sign a LOI and begin the due diligence phase. This will require more detailed information from the business.

step 5

Execute Agreement

  • Here we finalize the sale, transfer the funds, and execute the transition plan.
